At Enable, we know how important is it is to have services in the community that are accessible - physically, socially and financially. That's why we have created our spaces with accessibility at the centre.
Importantly, our services are exclusively available to people with a disability, and our facilities and services reflect this, with:
Being disability exclusive also means that our accredited clinicians are experts in working with a range of disabilities and conditions, and have extensive experience working with NDIS participants. We are all passionate and motivated to maximise our clients' physical, mental and social wellbeing and potential.
We have a culture of inclusion and respect, but we are more than a health care service - our clients come to socialise, connect and have fun!

We are a registered NDIS provider, so we can welcome clients who are self managed, plan managed or agency managed.
We are often asked will NDIS fund a gym membership?. While the NDIS does not fund ‘memberships’, you can use your NDIS funding for gym sessions at Enable Fitness Centre, as the NDIS funds therapy appointments with accredited clinicians. NDIS exercise physiology is our specialty!
Access to our disability gyms and facilities is by appointment, with all sessions (individual and group) supervised by Accredited Exercise Physiologists. As such, therapy appointments with all our Exercise Physiologists are able to be claimed through the NDIS under the Capacity Building budget - designed to help individuals develop their skills, independence, and social participation - using funding from either of the below categories.
Improved Health and Wellbeing
The supports in this support category help participants to improve their health and wellbeing. These support items maintain or increase physical mobility or well-being through personal training or exercise physiology. Physical well-being activities promote and encourage improved physical capacity and health.
Exercise Physiology can be claimed using Advice provided by an Exercise Physiologist regarding exercise required - line item numbers 12_027_0126_3_3 and 12_027_0128_3_3.
Improved Daily Living
This support category includes assessment supports, training supports, strategy development supports, and therapeutic supports (including Early Childhood Supports) to assist the development of, or to increase, a participant’s skills and their capacity for independence and community participation.
Exercise Physiology can be claimed using Assessment Recommendation Therapy or Training - Exercise Physiologist: line item numbers 15_200_0126_1_3 or 15_200_0128_1_3.
While we are disability only, we welcome other funding schemes for clients who meet our criteria. You can read more about our access criteria and funding options here in our FAQs.
You can use your NDIS funding to access physiotherapy and dietetics services at Enable Fitness Centre.
Physiotherapy appointments with our accredited physiotherapists, and dietetics appointments with accredited practicing dietitian can be claimed through either of the below budgets:
Capacity Building - Improved Daily Living budget
This support category includes assessment supports, training supports, strategy development supports, and therapeutic supports (including Early Childhood Supports) to assist the development of, or to increase, a participant’s skills and their capacity for independence and community participation.
Core - Assistance with Daily Life
This support category relates to assisting with or supervising personal tasks of daily life to enable the participant to live as autonomously as possible. These supports are provided individually to participants and can be provided in a range of environments, including the participant’s own home. In relation to therapy supports, these Disability-Related Health Supports provide care, other than nursing care, to respond to the disability-related health needs of a participant where that care is not the usual responsibility of the health system.
Be sure to check that you have available funding, the therapy aligns with your disability-related goals, and supports your overall wellbeing.
